Kates Playground Piercing Kates Playground?

More bowls

When I was out walking, I found a nerblåst box in a park. After talking with people at the Parks Department got the green light that I could take it to wood crafts. A friend came with a chainsaw and we got ourselves a high askkubbar, about 70 cm long and 20-25 cm in diameter. To celebrate the new timber supply turned me two larger bowls.

The two front bowls are turned into ash and the rear of the birch. All of them are turned into fresh wood which gives a slightly oval shape after drying. The diameters are about 18, 16 and 11 cm. Inspiration for birch bowl is lifted from the findings and reconstructions of the so-called "poringers", depicted and described in "The Wooden Bowl" by Robin Wood.
